I’m cooking up some new Dr. Freelance posts in the next few days, including a new episode of “Freelance Follies,” but wanted to share a guest posts in the meantime: At Lori Widmer’s Words on the Page, “Are Women Better Freelancers?” I give my best attempt at gracefully addressing gender in freelancing. What’s your opinion, either as a freelance creative, or as a client or editor?
Check it out, please add your comments, and I highly recommend RSSing to Lori’s blog, one of my favorites in the freelanceosphere.

Interesting post on Lori’s site there….I think women may be better suited to the multi-tasking aspect of this job, just because of how we think. Then again, the guys I know who freelance are good at that too so….?
Something to ponder, eh?
What about lefties? 🙂 I know a lot of lefty writers (myself included!)…

Thanks for commenting, Catherine. Hadn’t thought about the multitasking angle, but that’s something I’m personally lousy at — unless you mean it in the sense of being easily distracted. “Look, a squirrel!!!”
And for the record, I was lefty when I was around five, ambidextrous through adolescence, and now completely righty. Weird. Maybe I will ask people if they’re righty or lefty in the upcoming Freelance Forecast…
